About this Scholarship

  • TIAS Scholarships for Business & Society; with preference given to developing countries. (4-12 awards)

  • TIAS School for Business and Society understands the financial commitment of funding an MBA. Like you, school also know knowledge is power and great education is priceless. This is why school offer scholarships to qualified candidates to encourage a diverse and inclusive classroom. Most scholarships are essay-based and all essays should reflect your personal point of view expressed in your own words.

What It Covers

  • Scholarship values differ, but are available up to 35% of the MBA tuition fee.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Please submit an essay (max 1000 words) on what drives your passion for social responsibility and leadership. Emphasize what your ambitions are in this area and why you believe the TIAS International Full-Time MBA program will help you achieve these ambitions.

  • When making scholarship decisions, the TIAS admissions board reviews all application materials
submitted by candidates and assesses each candidate's overall qualities: the academic profile,
the strength of the overall admissions application, the quality of your admissions interview, and
    employability.
  • Like admissions decisions, all scholarship decisions are made by the admissions board using a comprehensive approach that takes into account a variety of personal criteria, including educational achievement; life experiences; personal interests; location of residence; student's goals and background, and GMAT, GRE or TIAS Capacity Test (TCT) score.
  • Please remember that a high GMAT, GRE, or TCT test score does not guarantee admission, just
as a low score doesn't preclude admission.
  • School accept students with lower test scores if they believe this can be offset by stronger areas in one’s profile. Since they are such a very diverse school, school is keen to see whether you have worked, lived, studied abroad, or worked for an international company. So, while a solid test score is important, it is not necessarily a deal
    breaker.
  • A solid GMAT or GRE score. The GMAT or GRE requirement applies to all MBA applicants, regardless of your experience. GRE scores will be converted to GMAT.
  • The average for the GMAT Focus Edition is in the 575-600 range.
  • If eligible, you may also opt for the TIAS Capacity Test as an alternative. The capacity test is a free, online test available in multiple languages. (GMAT/GRE waivers are not guaranteed, and approvals are made on a case-by-case basis)
  • GMAT school code: 23X-5F-12, GRE: 1462 and TOEFL iBT: 8614
